What is PHP?
Defined by the PHP 4 Bible:
PHP is an open-source server-side HTML-embedded Web scripting language that is compatible with all the major Web servers (most notably Apache). PHP allows you to embed code fragments in normal HTML pages – code that is interpreted as your pages are served up to users. PHP also serves as a "glue" language, making it easy to connect your Web pages to server-side databases.
Where can I learn more about PHP?
The PHP Web site at http://www.php.net is the best place to learn PHP, from the beginner to the advanced. If you are looking for something on paper, the PHP 4 Bible is a good, all-inclusive PHP book.
Is Safe Mode on?
While safe mode is turned off, restrictions on certain functions that could cause serious security issues are applied. Please contact Aurora for more information.
